Fruit From the Inside Out

Blog In Audio:

Greetings,

I hope you are all well. I have been home but this week I will be leaving for the Netherlands, the U.K. and Spain. I am expecting God encounters and divine connections in my path. Because I have peace with God, I am expecting more! I believe that surprises of God’s life are set before me in my path. I believe the same is for you and you should expect to see the goodness of God in the land of this life.

I have been addressing the matter of our kingdoms being expressions of our Lord and Christ. Our internal connection to God in Christ is the secret to being able to reign in life. Christ in us is the hope of glory in every situation of our lives. It is the hope of us as individuals, our marriages, our families, and our various roles in life. It is not just one day that we will reign in life. It is today, tomorrow, and growing in maturity and the testimony of life into eternity. Today is the day to hear the voice of God. We must live our lives from the inside out. People in the world live from the outside in. They rely upon the things that inform their souls for their thoughts, reasonings, emotions, imaginations, and desires in life. As believers in Christ, our thoughts, reasonings, emotions, imaginations, and desires are to be empowered by our own spirits made alive by the Spirit of God in our hearts.

What is the testimony of those who live their lives from the inside out? The kingdom of God within us is a kingdom of God’s Spirit and God’s Spirit will inspire our spirts to make the fruit of the Spirit known in and through our lives.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

When we allow the kingdom of God within us to be the inspiration of personal lives, the fruit of God’s Spirit transforms our spirits to manifest the life-giving fruit of God in our lives. This affects us as individuals, our marriages, our families, and every sphere of influence that we walk in. Our lives will increasingly manifest in love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. When these things are lacking in our lives it’s because we are in some way being distracted by the external influences of our lives. We must look to Christ within us to spring up and heal our wounds, our scars, and any area of internal damage in our heats. Our focus must be a focus of God within us. For this reason, we should make it our aim to stir up the Spirit of God within us by stirring our own spirits to know Him and experience Him even amid our daily tasks of life. This involves both our attitude and our actions.

1 Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not despise prophecies. 21 Test all things; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil.

Our attitude must be one of rejoicing in God and, therefore, we take actions throughout our day to do acts of rejoicing. Prayer should be a constant attitude of our hearts and we should make actions of praying, speaking and listening to God, by the leading of His Spirit throughout every day. Our attitude and actions should be steeped in being thankful and giving thanks to God throughout each day. We must choose to allow the Spirit of God to flow through us, knowing that a self-seeking, self-focused attitude will hinder the flow of God’s Spirit in our lives. We must prophesy! We must make declarations of what God is saying as an influencing force of life to our God-giving spheres of influence in life. Our attitudes and actions are those that constantly choose good, and we are not easily distracted by outside forces that seek to discourage our souls.

Blessings,

Ted J. Hanson
