Today I am in Wichita, Kansas. I have had a great weekend with my good friends Derick and Talita Stoltz. My time with them, Christlife Ministries, and some new connections here in Wichita has been blessed. God loves people and it is the grassroots connection of people to God that can change the world.
Jesus has made a way for us to know life! He has made a way for us all to know life – eternal life! Eternal life is not just to live forever after we physically die. It is true life today, tomorrow, and forever. It is knowing God as our Father and knowing Jesus the Son by the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. This is the power of life to every situation in our lives. Our kingdoms can become kingdoms of our Lord and Christ. Our personal lives, our families, and any role we have in this world can be an expression of the life and love of God. We can daily be, and increasingly become, expressions of the life of God in and to our worlds. Jesus is the eternal Adam of a new creation in Christ. This is the testimony granted to all who boldly come to His throne of grace to receive His mercy and find His grace whereby we can be empowered to reign in life.
Romans 5:16 And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification. 17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. 19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. 20 Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, 21 so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The blood of Jesus upon our cross grants us the mercy of God that justifies us all to live. Having been justified to live, we can become empowered to live by the grace of God in our world. All people are justified to live, but only those who come to Him become empowered to reign in life. This is the testimony of living in triumph over every enemy in our lives. The enemies of God are enemies to life, but life is more powerful than death in every way. True life can only come from the Father of life. True light can only shine from the Father of lights. In Christ we find every enemy of death subdued beneath our feet because we are the light of God in Christ. To know the life of God is to become a testimony of the life of God to our world. It is Christ reigning in us that demonstrated the testimony of Jesus as Lord and Christ – the One who sits upon the throne of grace in heaven.
1 Corinthians 15:25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.
Matthew 22:44 ‘The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool”’?
Jesus has opened the seals of the New Covenant for all who will come to Him. The opening of the seals of the New Covenant removes the administration of the Old Covenant in our lives. Our lives become kingdoms of our Lord and Christ when we receive a NOW relationship with God in Christ. Receiving the power of God’s grace in our lives supersedes the need for the administration of conscience and law in our lives. Grace is the empowerment of God’s presence and love from within. It is stronger than an internal witness that merely saws that He is and it is stronger than any external law that testifies of who He is. Grace is the empowerment of Christ in us and this is the hope of glory in our lives.
Revelation 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”
Revelation 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
We overcome the enemies of God by finding our identify in God by the mercy of the blood of the Lamb. We find our testimony by being submerged in His Spirit in every circumstance of our lives. We partner with Him in the power of His love and our kingdoms become testimonies of His purpose of glory.
We must embrace the life of Christ within us to find the life to overcome every enemy of our souls. People in the world live their lives by the influences of external information and forces that affect their thoughts, reasonings, imaginations, emotions, and desires. It is an outside/in testimony that creates a kingdom of the world. As believers, we must live our lives by the internal influence of Christ in our hearts. When our spirits become alive in Christ, our spirits give us right thoughts, reasonings, imaginations, emotions, and desires from within. It is an inside/out influence that causes our kingdoms to become growing testimonies of being kingdoms of our Lord and Christ. It is a place of knowing His government and peace that ever grows and has no end. It is by this that we reign in life.
