Keys To This Present Season

Blog In Audio:

Greetings,

I have been in Bulgaria for many days now and God is doing good things. The church of Blagoevgrad, Sofia, and Plovdiv are growing in Christ and the presence of Christ is in them, upon them, and with them. We have been experiencing phenomenal  times in God’s presence. His presence is activating His kingdom purpose, the purpose of the Father’s love. It is good to finally reconnect in person with some of the divine connections of my life. I am blessed to see what God is up to.

While I have been here, I have shared some things that I have discovered in the past two years. These things are truths in my life and growing realities as I am embracing them. I will call these keys to this present season in the earth. The first key to this present season is to be a place where God rests. He rests because He is fully satisfied. He wants us to live in and from His presence in all things. We can live our lives from rest, not striving to rest, because God loves us, and He is satisfied with who we are.

The second key to this present season is to embrace the unshakeable God in order to become an unshakeable person. It is time to be renewed in the courage of the Lord, to be renewed in His holiness, and to be renewed in our faith in Him. This is possible because of who He is. When He walks into the space of our lives, we hear His new song of life. That sound is that He is great, He is good, and His mercy endures forever! God is courageous because He is great! We can have faith in His courage!

We can also have hope because God is good! We can know that all things will work for good because God is good. We need not be shaken in unholy times because God is holy. To be holy is to be the substance of His goodness to our world because our Father is good! He is holy and we can trust His holiness as hope for our world.

We can also know love. To be renewed in our faith in God is not the same as being renewed in our faith. It will renew our faith, but it is a trust in His love. We can trust His faithfulness, because He is love! We don’t need to be shaken in shaking times because God is unshakable. He is great, He is good, and His mercy endures forever!

The third key to this present season is that our identity, testimony, and purpose is in Christ. Circumstances cannot change who we are, they can only force who we are to rise in new and creative ways. We can let go of our expectations and remain expectant in our hearts. We are pregnant with the purpose of God in our lives because of who we are in Christ.

A fourth key to this present season is to seek first the Kingdom of God in all things. That kingdom is not an external kingdom. It is the internal kingdom of God in our hearts that causes our kingdom to increasingly become a kingdom of our Lord and Christ. It is knowing righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. It is knowing Jesus as the way, the truth, and the life today, tomorrow, and forever.

Proverbs 3:9 Honor the LORD with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; 10 so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

God rests in my life. He is unshakeable, and I need not shake. My identity, testimony, and purpose are in Him. His kingdom is in my heart. These things I am growing to know.

These are key lessons in my life of these past two years. God rests in my life because He loves me, and He is fully satisfied with who I am as His son. God is a rock and in the rock of Christ I can become unshakeable even in shaking times. He is great, He is good, and His mercy endures forever! I stand in His courage, in His holiness, and in His faith. For this reason, I will not be shaken. I am a son of God and no circumstance can change who I am. The circumstances of my life only prove to be the ground in which I arise. The kingdom of God is within me. I will seek the kingdom of God in my heart and my kingdom will increasingly become an expression of the kingdom of God that is within me.

Blessings,

Ted J. Hanson

Thanks Ted. This is good. I remember many years ago while asking the Lord for some things He said, “Seek first ……” it’s amazing how many times I look at the clock and it is 6:33, reminding me of that Truth.
