Trees of Righteousness

Greetings,

Today I am writing from Spain. I had a wonderful time in Bulgaria this past weekend. God was in the house! The family of God is strong and God’s presence is bringing abundant life to the hungry! Thank you to my church family in Bulgaria. Stand fast in the faith and see the glory of God revealed in greater ways in the days before you!

As members of the body of Christ our heritage and inheritance comes from a different tree than the family tree of the world. We were once people of the world and of the world system, but now we have become the children of God. As children of God we must grow in maturity to see our lives led by the Spirit of God and not the wisdom of our own hearts and minds. When we are led by God’s Spirit we take on the testimony of being sons of God. What we believe, how we act, how we respond to others, how we receive from others, how we contribute to others, how we relate to others, and how we stand with others in this life is motived by the Holy Spirit of God in our lives.

Romans 8:14-17 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs — heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

The old administration of our lives was one of the knowledge of good and the knowledge of evil. The decisions of our lives were governed by the informative input of knowledge of good and knowledge of evil in the world in which we found ourselves. We were trying to be good people, making good decisions, and living a good life as we determined it to be. Our family tree was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thus the decisions of our lives were determined by our own assessment of what was good and what was evil. In truth, we sought to govern our own affairs, make our own decisions, and create our own worlds. We lived with others with an independent will, an independent attitude, independent actions, and we sought independent results in life. We were expressions of a kingdom unto ourselves – a kingdom of the world.

The new administration of our lives is one of life and peace in Christ Jesus. It is a different family tree. Our new heritage and inheritance comes from Jesus Christ and the Tree of Life. It is a tree of transformation, not one of information. Our decisions in life are no longer determined by the assessments of our own minds, but by the transformation of our hearts and minds that comes by the power of God’s kingdom within us. It is an internal relationship with God where we know that God is our God, we are His people, and we live together. It is internal revolution empowered by the eternal realities of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. We are internally activated by the Spirit of Christ to know that God loves us. We are internally motivated to love Him. We are experiencing an internal revolution of God’s glory that is significant enough to affect every area of our lives. The outward decisions, actions, and influences of our lives are a testimony that our kingdom has become a kingdom of our Lord and Christ. We are the people of God.

In order to be the people of God, we must be like Jesus. Our decisions cannot be based upon what we see and hear naturally. Our decisions must be empowered by the sevenfold Holy Spirit in and upon our lives.

Isaiah 11:1-3 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots. The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. His delight is in the fear of the Lord, and He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears…

The old tree has been cut down and the eternal tree of life has sprung up where the old one once ruled. We are new creations in Christ and the Holy Spirit is the anointing in and upon our lives. The Spirit of the Lord, Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Might, Knowing, and Fear of the Lord is the activating substance of our lives. This means, we are no longer governed as we were in the past. We do not seek to become something through the things we do, but rather do all things because of who we are in Christ. Our identity determines our strategy; our strategy does not create our identity. Natural sight is not the ruling factor of our lives. What things look like, sound like, feel like or what we think they look like, sound like, or feel like does not determine the attitude, action, or attributes of our lives.

Isaiah 11:4-5 But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked. Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, and faithfulness the belt of His waist.

The substance of who we are in Christ is enough to give life to those who lack it. We are the substance of good news to the destitute, healing to the broken hearted, liberty to the captives, an open door to freedom for the bound, restored heritage and inheritance to the enslaved, deliverance to the controlled, comfort to the mourning, clarity to the confused, beauty to the destroyed, joy to the sorrowful, and praise to the oppressed. Who we are is a testimony to who all can become! We are the people of God and our love for another is not dependent upon them loving us – it is an anointing upon our lives given to us by our Father in heaven! We are trees of righteousness; the planting of the Lord that God might be glorified!

Blessings,

Born Again To Love

Greetings;

Yesterday I had the privilege of speaking at ALife. It was great to be at home and to share my heart with our local church family. God is doing good things! This past Wednesday I also had the privilege of praying together with fellow pastors in our city. There were about 85 pastors and we all washed one another’s feet in a spontaneous manner around the room. God is revealing His people as the people of God!

We have been given really good news in Jesus. Jesus didn’t come to merely bless us. He came to reconnect us to our heavenly Father. He came so we would know who we really are. We are children of God! He is the door to the eternal reality of who we were meant to be in this world. It was the good news of the kingdom of God that was preached to Abraham in the hope of this increasing day of being the children of God!

Galatians 3:8  The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “ALL THE NATIONS WILL BE BLESSED IN YOU.”

What was the gospel preached to Abraham? The word gospel means good news. I don’t believe that the word gospel does the good news given us by God true justice. I believe that it is often a religious word that allows the truth of God to be masked with unreal presentations of what the good news really is. The good news is not that a man died for sinners. The good news is that an eternal Adam gave His life so that all can find themselves in the family of blessing! The good news is that Jesus Christ reconciled men to God while they were yet sinners so the blessings of heaven could flood the worlds of men. The message of heaven is one of transforming the world from the internal grace of life and peace in Christ. The internal reality of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit is a fountain of life that empowers who we were meant to be in this world.

THE GOSPEL PREACHED TO ABRAHAM (Genesis 22:15-18):

  1. In blessing I will bless you
  2. In multiplying I will multiply
  3. Your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.
  4. In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed

Our heavenly destiny is to know that we are blessed in Christ and thus we believe God and are a blessing to the world. Our actions expand the blessings of heaven to the world we live in. Our imaginations are for the advancing life and authority of our children and our children’s children. Our influence is that of blessing to the families of the earth. This is the destiny of heaven in our lives! It is really good news!

The internal kingdom of God is being revealed in powerful and eternal ways. This is not a time to judge one another, but to embrace one another in partnerships for the glory of God! We are children of light and we are called by God to walk in His light and as His light in this world.

The true testimony of walking in the light of Christ is seen in our fellowship with one another. That fellowship is a fellowship of the Spirit and it is a testimony to the blood shed for us by Jesus at Calvary. He gave His love to us by giving His life for us. It wasn’t dependent upon us loving Him. It was dependent upon Him being true to the character, nature, way, power, and authority of a Son of God. This is true for us as well.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

1 John 2:6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

1 John 2:9, 10 He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.

We give our love to one another by giving our life for one another. It is not dependent upon others giving their lives for us. This is the testimony of our fellowship. It is being empowered by God’s grace to walk as Jesus walked, loving one another! We were born to be loved by God, but we were born again to love others. We are children of God! The true testimony of passing from death to life is seen in our ability to love the family of God, even when other family members don’t know who they are. Being born of God empowers us to love like God loves! It is miraculous and it is fully dependent upon the Tree of Life. It is not an attribute of the old tree of the knowledge of good and evil. It is an internal power of life from the kingdom of God within our hearts. True love for one another doesn’t come when we are loved, but when we are empowered to love. It is a gift from God. God is love, and abiding in Him empowers us to love as He loves. We have boldness in every day of judgment, because we have no fear of being judged. We have a revelation of God’s love for us and that perfect love casts out all fear. We are being made perfect in love! The internal anointing that abides in us is an anointing to love one another. We don’t need anyone to teach us, Christ within our hearts teaches us to love as Jesus loved!

1 John 3:1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!

Blessings,

A Covenant of Faith

Greetings;

Wow! What a great day it was yesterday at ALife! Pastor Jonathan delivered a great word of life and the presence of God was wonderful among His people in the family of God. We have been anointed to speak words of life to others. We have been anointed speak words of freedom and life to the world!

We are receiving the blessings of God through the internal kingdom of life within our hearts. We are sons and daughters of God in the family of God and we were born to know Him and to reveal Him in and to the world in which we live. We were people of the kingdoms of the world, but now we are being made one as the people of God.

In the Old Covenant the people of God were known as the nation of Israel. Israel was not the result of God’s covenant with Moses. God’s covenant with Moses was the result of God’s covenant with Israel and God’s covenant with Israel was a further testimony of God’s covenant with Abraham. It was a covenant given by Melchizedek, not Aaron. The true Israel of God is not a testimony of the Law covenant of Moses, but the Grace covenant of Abraham. It was established through the line that evolved to become the Torah/Temple system of Moses and the nation of Israel, but given to Abraham by God with an intention of being revealed in its fullness in all the nations. What was natural had to die and be grafted into the eternal stump of Christ. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil had to be cut down and new life had to be found in the Tree of Life and Christ. That grafting in would be both the grafting of what was formerly not in covenant with God and the grafting in of what was once covenant, but refused to see that the greater covenant was one of grace and not law. Those who did not know the law of God had to recognize their death in Christ to be grafted into the grace found in Christ. Those who knew the law of God had to recognize that the law left them in death and they too had to be grafted into the grace of God in Christ. It was a covenant of Melchizedek and not Aaron. Paul confirmed this truth when writing to the Gentiles concerning his Jewish countryman and the salvation of all nations in Christ.

Romans 11:24-27 For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob”. For this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.”

God’s covenant is not just with one nation, but with all nations that the kingdom of God might become the internal kingdom of the heart that consumes all the kingdoms of the world. It is the internal kingdom of God that makes us all one in Christ. All of Israel is not all of the natural nation of Israel, but all of those who are of the faith of Abraham. This includes the Jewish people descended from the natural nation of Israel, but also the people of every nation, tribe, and tongue upon the earth. Those who are blessed are those who of faith in Christ. This is not just for those who had the promises of God through the Torah/Temple system of Moses, but those who are the Truth/Spirit Body of Christ. The blessing cannot come by any natural means, but by the supernatural power of God’s grace in Christ.

Romans 4:9-15 Does this blessedness then come upon the circumcised only, or upon the uncircumcised also? For we say that faith was accounted to Abraham for righteousness. How then was it accounted? While he was circumcised, or uncircumcised? Not while circumcised, but while uncircumcised. And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while still uncircumcised, that he might be the father of all those who believe, though they are uncircumcised, that righteousness might be imputed to them also, and the father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision, but who also walk in the steps of the faith which our father Abraham had while still uncircumcised. For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect, because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression.

Faith happens when we hear God speak to our hearts. Faith works through love and it is always toward the one who spoke. Faith towards God comes by hearing God in our hearts. It results in actions on our part, but those actions are inspired by a revelation of God’s love in our hearts. We know that God loves us and thus we hear Him in our hearts. We respond with actions of love towards Him and towards who and what He loves. It is by the power of God’s grace that we are granted a right relationship with God in faith. We hear Him and we respond to His voice of love with the actions of our lives. The life that we live we live by faith towards Him in all things. It is a testimony of grace and the power of God at work in our lives. It is not a discipline of the flesh or a mere obedience to a ‘what to do’ code.

Romans 2: 28-29 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.

God is at work in our hearts through His internal, eternal kingdom of life and peace in Christ. We are born to be loved by Him and when we receive a revelation of His love for us we cannot help but love Him and all that He loves. We are being transformed from the kingdoms of self to the kingdom of our Lord and Christ by His anointing within our hearts.

Blessings,

Meeting Christ In The Earth

Greetings;

Today I am writing from Deming, New Mexico. I had a great time on the weekend with CitiLife Church. I spoke on God’s plan of partnership for 2016. I believe this is a huge prophetic key for 2016. God is taking us another measure in becoming the testimony of God’s people upon the earth. God really showed up and touched us in a wonderful way. Thank you to CitiLife Church. Your hunger, your worship, your reception, and your willingness to grow are commendable.

In today’s blog I feel I must draw upon some things I have written in the past and merge them with things I am writing know in order to take us further in this topic for the present year.

God has always desired to move into the neighborhoods of humanity with the life-giving, life-transforming grace of the kingdom of heaven. God’s covenant with humanity was seen in the covenant with Abraham. That covenant was not one of law, Aaronic priesthood, or temple order. It was a covenant established with a man by Melchizedek, the King of righteousness and peace. Melchizedek was Christ seen in human form in the Old Testament. He was the King of Salem, meaning King of Peace (Salem). The name Melchizedek means, King of righteousness. God manifested in human form to bring a testimony of true peace and righteousness to Abram. This Melchizedek was the one who would transform Abram (father of a nation) to Abraham (father of many nations). This is the source of the covenant of God’s life-giving, life-transforming grace to all nations!

Genesis14:18-19  Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. And he blessed him and said: “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; and blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” And he gave him a tithe of all.

Abram’s act of tithe to Melchizedek was a response to the gratuity of bread and wine given to him by Melchizedek. It wasn’t an act to merely get something from God. It was an action taken to demonstrate that he already recognized that God was involved in his life giving him all that he needed to become who God saw him to be. Abram didn’t have his goods in mind when he tithed to the King. He had the gifts of the King in mind. Abram didn’t keep a stitch of the goods that he had in his possession.

Genesis14:21-22  Now the king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give me the persons, and take the goods for yourself.” But Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I have raised my hand to the LORD, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth, 23 that I will take nothing, from a thread to a sandal strap, and that I will not take anything that is yours, lest you should say, “I have made Abram rich”…

Abram knew that he needed all that God had in heaven for him to bring the testimony of heaven into his life upon the earth. If he was to be God’s house in the earth then the food of God’s house was necessary for him to become all that he was destined to be. His destiny in God was dependent upon his response to the flesh manifestation of Christ before his eyes. This demonstration of tithe from Abram’s heart had nothing to do with any command that God had ever given. It was a revelation given to Abram by the Spirit of God when He encountered a manifestation of Christ upon the earth. It was a loosing on earth to receive the blessing pre-ordained from heaven.

Tithe is a response level relationship whereby we respond to the bread and wine of Melchizedek with a prophetic tenth, declaring that the full inheritance of heaven is to be made known in God’s house through the gate of heaven in the earth. Tithe is not merely money or things. It is a prophetic expression of responding to God in our lives. We have been taught so much about tithe being a mere act of physical obedience to God that we forget that responding to God in our lives is the point of a tithe level relationship, not some ritualistic act of financial giving. What about the giving of our hearts to God in the diverse expressions of our lives? A tithe level relationship is like the submersion in the Holy Spirit in our lives where a holy testimony spills out from our hearts and submerges us in a testimony that declares we are a holy nation before God in the earth! It is a response to God’s presence that speaks with heavenly inspired expressions of the tongues of the earth with a testimony of worship to God concerning His wonderful works and the wonder of who He is (Acts 2:11).

We are dependent upon God as our righteousness and we are an earthly testimony of His peace. Our worship of God, our response to who He is in our word, is the evidence of our oneness with Him in heaven while here upon this earth. I believe that a deep level of the worship of God is a tithe level relationship with Him. We respond to His Word and His Spirit in our lives by expressing a judgment of love (10 = a symbol of completeness, totality, a judgment of love). Our expression to God is an expression representing all that we are to all that He is. We know that our internal and external testimonies are but a portion of all that God has for us in heaven. We recognize that our lives are a gate to heaven and that as we respond to who God is in our lives angels will ascend to and descend from the realms of heaven to bring all of God’s realities to us in our lives. We do not worship God to receive things from Him, but we worship Him knowing that all He intends for us to be in this world comes from Him. We are the gate of heaven in the earth for the purpose of God’s glory in the earth. We worship God for His glory to be revealed! We are a pillar in God’s house submerged in the anointing oil of His presence! This is for all who are of the faith of Abraham. It is neither Jew nor Gentile, but a testimony of Christ as all are made one in Christ for the glory of His name. The Israel of God (prince with God) is a testimony of all who are made one in Christ by the power of the kingdom of God within their hearts! Those who were bound to the kingdoms of desolation and barrenness have been made living by the kingdom of life and peace in Christ!

Blessings,

Visions and Dreams

Greetings;

Today I am writing from Wichita, Kansas. We had a great service yesterday morning and I am looking forward to a couple more days here. I will be sharing on the word of God for 2016 on Tuesday night here and I am very expectant in my spirit.

The manifest presence of Christ in the heart of the Church is the power of heaven’s decree for the testimony of God’s kingdom coming and His will being done on earth as it is in heaven. That testimony is one of Zion, a place where the human heart becomes empowered by the Word and the Spirit of God for the glory of God’s kingdom. It is a NOW moment that leads to further realities of God’s glory in the earth. God has done great things in the past, but He is doing even greater things in our day. The enemy of NOW is holding too tight to what God did in the past and the enemy of TOMORROW is despising the things of the past. A scribe instructed concerning the things of the kingdom of heaven draws from their treasure things that have never been seen, heard, or thought before and also things that are antique and lost even before their time.

Matthew 13:52   Then He said to them, “Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old.”

It is natural for young people to dream dreams and for older people to have vision in life. We start out with many dreams and those dreams can become sparks to something that leads to a clear vision in life. That vision then becomes something that we live for, but in the world that vision is often exhausted in one generation. It is not successive in its measure of inheritance. It becomes a thing of success, but it fails to be a thing of great significance. The things of the vision can be inherited by the next generation, but unless the spirit of that vision is inherited the things of the inheritance will be spent by the next generation on other things of value. Inheritance is meant to expand in each generation, but unless the spirit of the inheritance is received the substance of the inheritance will be lost.

In the kingdom of God it is said that the Holy Spirit comes upon flesh and young people have visions and old people dream dreams. I believe in the spiritual reality of dreams and visions, as experiences empowered by the Spirit of God. I have had many dreams and visions inspired by the anointing of the Holy Spirit, but what about a dream in life or a vision in life? I believe that the Holy Spirit wants to give the young in the kingdom of God vision and He wants to anoint the old to dream again. This means that the old will believe for things that cannot be accomplished in their own lifetimes and the young will embrace things that are beyond their own ability to understand. In this there will have to be a partnership of faith, hope, and love. Faith has to do with things that cannot be seen naturally and it works through love. Hope has to do with believing the One who loves us and then daring to dream for what has not yet happened. Our hope is in the One who gives dreams and who has the power to make them come to pass. Our hope is not in the dreams, but in the One who is the source. When this happens things will be built, raised up, and made new in a testimony of increasing glory in the earth. When our hope is in the One who is the beginning and the end our endings can become the beginning for another and our beginnings can become the endings for another generation. Both are valuable and both carry the substance of eternity when we put our hope in the Giver of dreams and visions in life.

What is the secret for transforming the natural tendency of young dreamers to become young people with vision? What is the secret to transforming the natural tendency of old visionaries to become old people with dreams? When the dreams of the young seek for the spirit of the vision of that which is old, then the dreams of the young become transformed to the substance of vision in the young. When the visions of the old seek for the spirit the dreams of the young, then the visions of the old are transformed to the substance of dreams in their hearts again.

How can these things happen? These things can only happen when the young who dream recognize the value of the spirit of the vision of the old and the vision of the old becomes a dream that fuels the vision of the young. The fuel of vision must transform the substance of the dreams to become vision! When the older generation allows the younger generation to catch the spirit of their vision as a dream, then the younger generations dream takes on the spirit of the older generations vision. This is when the dreams of the young can become vision because they have the spirit of that which is old. The same is true for transforming the vision of the old to the substance of a dream. The fuel of dreams must also transform the substance of vision to become a dream again. The old must recognize the value of the spirit of the dreams of the young so the vision they carry can be transformed to the substance of dreams again. The fuel of dreams in the fire of vision produces more dreams and the fuel of vision in the fire of dreams produces vision in the hearts of those who dream.

Blessings,

For Zion’s Sake

Greetings,

Today I am writing from Castlegar, B.C., Canada. I have been ministering here over the weekend with my good friend Henry Schmidt. God has been wonderful and the people have been hungry for all that He was doing. We are believing for the fruit of the Tree of Life in the Kootenays!

We are living in a time when the influence of the community of God will overpower the influence of the communities of the world. This does not happen by an external force. It is an internal force that transforms the human heart. Our hope is not Christ to the nations, but Christ in each of us. This is our hope of glory; it is our hope of being made fully alive in Christ. The revolution of the kingdom of God is not by natural means, but by the supernatural transformation of human hearts. It is only when the beliefs of the human heart become supernaturally transformed that the actions of our lives can be changed for the glory of God’s name. Our actions are determined by the beliefs of our hearts and the beliefs of our hearts are only changed by the influence of word and spirit. When we lived by the external influence of the knowledge of good and evil our hearts were left vulnerable to lies and deceptions that influenced our hearts to be left twisted in our beliefs in a defensive and self-preserving way. Our justice system was based upon what we deemed to be fair o r unfair, good or evil, right or wrong. Our perceived realities were not the same as God’s realties that only come from love and the tree of life. Only when the testimony of God’s Truth and God’s Spirit come together in the human heart can there be a transformation in our beliefs that causes the rule of God’s kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit to influence the actions of our lives. Those actions are then a testimony of the rule of the kingdom of heaven within our lives. This is the true testimony of Zion.

Hebrews 12:18-24 For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest, and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore. (For they could not endure what was commanded: “And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned or shot with an arrow.” And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, “I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.”) But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.

God’s relationship with the children of Israel in the Old Testament was a type and shadow testifying of a great truth hidden in Christ for all men (Heb. 10:1). God has always desired to transform the testimony of all people to that of being one with Him and He with them. When King David became the king of Israel he knew that God’s favor and testimony was paramount to his rule in the one and only kingdom of the earth that testified of the true God of heaven. When David began his rule his first act was to secure the presence of God into the city of his rule (2 Sam. 6). The ark of God’s presence had been missing for 20 years and David knew that there could be no testimony of God’s rule in Israel without the presence of God in Israel. David sought the ark and brought it to a little hill in Jerusalem. That hill became known as Zion, the place of David’s tent and the ark of the presence of God. Zion was formerly a stronghold of the Jebusites, but David made it his base of rule in Israel.

The name Jebusite means, to trample or to trod under. I believe that this little hill in Jerusalem was symbolic of the strongholds of the human heart. The rule and reign of God in our lives is only found by the testimony of Christ within us. Christ in our hearts is the redemption to the formerly trampled and trodden strongholds of sin. Without Christ in our hearts there is to source of grace (manifested favor) in our lives. When we have Christ within we are guaranteed the testimony of God’s peace.

The city of Jerusalem was the testimony of David’s capture of Zion. The name Jerusalem means, vision of peace, or city of peace. The house of God was established in the heart of this city of peace. The true city of peace is one where there is not gap of separation between God and man. It is a place of right relationship with God and with one another. The true city of peace is a testimony to the community influence of God’s eternal life. It is a testament to the goodness of God overtaking the strongholds of our former lives of sin. It is the testimony of the internal influence of the kingdom of God upon the human heart.

Isaiah 62:1-2 For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns. The Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory. You shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD will name.

There is a grassroots revolution in the earth and it is a revolution of the internal transformation of human hearts. God is calling for all the peoples of the world to receive a true vision of peace and to become a place of God’s righteous rule from within their hearts. This is the righteousness of being dependent upon God! The character, nature, way, power, and authority of our lives is being changed by a personal relationship with God in our hearts. It is the voice of God to each heart that empowers this revolution of life in the earth. It is a testimony of God’s love and the tree of life.

Ted J. Hanson – To The Church of 2016

Greetings – This is a special post for the unfolding year of 2016:

2016 is a year of partnerships, not partnerships as you would suppose. It’s not partnerships to see what you can get. It’s partnerships to see what you can give because the partnerships of 2016 are not partnerships of contract. They’re partnerships of covenant.

You are living in a time and a season where Isaiah 61 and 62 are going to accelerate and the partnerships that are going to take place in 2016 are going to come from the foundation of Isaiah 61 that leads to Isaiah 62, and then Isaiah 60 is finally going to become real. Because you can’t ‘Rise and Shine and your light come’ because you don’t know who you are.

Faith, Hope, and Love is a partnership for 2016!

God’s going to release such a grace of His love in this season, unsurpassed by any previous season. He’s going to reveal His love. He’s already showing up in the most unlikely places. And He’s showing that He wants to move into every neighborhood on planet earth because He wants every neighborhood of planet earth to move into heaven’s reality. He wants every neighborhood to move into His reality, but if you move into His reality then you’re going to be a different kind of people. Because if you move into His reality, then you’re going to be a people who will build, raise up, and make things new. You’ll be a people of blessing, a people of multiplication, a people of possessing. You’ll be a people of partnership, a partnership with God, a partnership with one another, a partnership of faith, hope, and love, realities of community and community only, because faith is towards a person, love comes from a person and hope is in a person.

In November God spoke to me prophetically that I have ‘Red Wings’. This is a very unique prophetic word and it relates to one of three things given to me by God as a spiritual inheritance. God has challenged me to consider the three aspects of spiritual inheritance given to me to serve my role in the implementation of God’s New Covenant Life and Grace in the earth. These are the issues of En Gedi, a testimony of a grassroots revolution that brings people out of the caves of the world to a paradise connection with God in Christ. This was given to me in the late 1980’s while ministering on the streets of Bellingham, Washington. The second is a 100-year plan as was revealed in my personal experience with my great-grandfather Osten Hanson, my grandfather Simon, my father Simon, me, and now the generations beyond me. This was given to me at the close of 1999 through a vision of my great-grandfather Osten and then a personal encounter with the Holy Spirit, and the making of a covenant with the laying on of hands of my father before he died. The third thing was given to me five years ago in my experience with Anderson Creek Lodge – a testimony of multi-generational, diverse training, equipping, and activating of ministry.

So what are the Red Wings? The substance of the vision for the training and equipping was also embodied in Red Wing Seminary – the ministry training school that my great-grandfather played a key part in developing and facilitating. It was a significant Norwegian religious school in the U.S, the first women’s ministry school of its kind, a music school, a sports school and other aspects of diverse training centered around the Lutheran faith with influence by a movement begun by Hans Nielsen Hauge, a lay revivalist who was considered to be a key influencer of the industrialization of Norway in the late 18th and early 19th century.

The three-fold testimony of a grassroots revolution, a 100-year inheritance, and a diverse expression of equipping and resourcing to the generations will take on a greater focus in my vision for 2016. This three-fold dynamic will be integrated in my ability to affect the nations and the generations with New Covenant life and Grace, thus barren places will become a testimony of the Abundant Life that Jesus came to bring. Prophetically exposing false walls and activating the pursuit of truth in the generations will enable an increase of the mandate of House of Bread Ministry in the new year.

This is a year of partnership! It is a season of partnership with faith, hope, and love. It is also a year of partnerships with others for the sake of God’s purposes in the earth. It is through connection with others that we will be enabled to discover the increasing testimony of the partnership of faith, hope and love. God has brought an anointing for free people to be planted in the earth for the generational purposes of God’s kingdom in the nations. Trees of righteousness in Christ are being planted in order to build, raise up, and make things new in the earth. This will be a foundation for, and a focus of, the efforts of House of Bread Ministry in 2016.

Isaiah 61:4b – 5 …“That they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” And they shall rebuild the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.

I am excited for this year of 2016!

All Nations Made One In Christ

Greetings;

Well here we are in 2016. We had a great start to the year in Bellingham. Pastor Jonathan hit one out of the park yesterday with His message on ‘Born to be Loved! He began the year by introducing some core values for A-Life and the spiritual letter that God is writing in human form here in Bellingham. The first of these values is one of being born to be loved and that is the internal revelation that changes the internal thinking of our hearts. Thank you Pastor Jonathan for a great start to a great year.

I believe that this present year is a year for the body of Christ to get a greater revelation of who they are in Christ. We are the people of God! As the people of God we are called, appointed, and anointed to reveal the person of God in the earth and to fulfill the purpose of God among the nations. This is a year of partnership! It is a season of partnership with faith, hope, and love. It is also a year of partnerships with others for the sake of God’s purposes in the earth. It is connection with others that we will enable us to discover the increasing testimony of the partnership of faith, hope and love.

I presented last week that God has brought an anointing for free people to be planted in the earth for the generational purposes of God’s kingdom in the nations. Trees of righteousness in Christ are being planted in order to build, raise up, and make things new in the earth.

Isaiah 61:4b – 5 …“That they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” And they shall rebuild the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.

God’s heart and plan is one of restoration. He is a redeemer, a reconciler, a restorer, a rewarder, and a replenisher in His ways. He doesn’t just love those who love Him. He loves all people. He gives His life to those who love Him, but He gave His life that all might be empowered to love Him. When we turn even the slightest in His direction we discover the amazing power of His unsurpassable affection. In Christ former enemies become friends and those who were once not a part of His plan find themselves fulfilling His purposes in the earth.

Isaiah 61:5-6 Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the foreigner shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. But you shall be named the priests of the LORD, they shall call you the servants of our God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory you shall boast.

Those who did not know Him find themselves sowing and reaping in His kingdom. They find themselves standing as priests before Him and they become those who serve Him for the glory of His purposes in the earth. I believe that eating the riches of the Gentiles is receiving them as brothers and sisters in the kingdom of God. Those who did not know God become part of His family for the inheritance of the family name. The glory of the Gentiles is their salvation in Christ! We are living in a time where the harvest of the nations will be seen as those who labor in the fields of God’s purpose in the nations.

It is not in the defeat of those who have not known the covenants of God that we rejoice. It is in their glory! When those who had not known the covenants of God become those who sow and reap in the kingdom of God it is a time to rejoice in the justice system of the kingdom of God. It is a justice system of the Tree of Life. Those who had not known the covenants of God are no longer bound to shame, but have found a place of inheritance among those who are the redeemed of the Lord!

Isaiah 61:7 Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; everlasting joy shall be theirs.

This is a justice system of forgiveness and healing. It is a justice system of new beginnings and of grafting in to the ancient things of God. Those who come at the end of the day will get the same wages as those who came at the beginning of the day. The ceilings of the past will become the foundations of the present, only to increase in the testimony of God’s grace and peace!

Isaiah 61:8-9 “For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery for burnt offering; I will direct their work in truth, and will make with them an everlasting covenant. Their descendants shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people. All who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the posterity whom the LORD has blessed.”

It is not fair! It is scandalous by the standards of the knowledge of good and evil. It is unfair by the standards of right and wrong! The justice system of the kingdom of heaven transforms the hearts of men to become a testimony of being children of God. Those who were the enemies of God become friends to His name!

Isaiah 61:10-11 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. For as the earth brings forth its bud, as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth, so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

The Israel of God is not just a Jewish people group by birth, but a people of circumcised hearts! These are those who are true inheritors of God. They were Jew and Gentile, but now they have become the children of God in Christ! These are those who bear His name in the earth and the governing rule of their lives is Christ in them, the hope of glory! His righteousness and praise is springing forth before all the nations as the internal kingdom of Heaven invades the nations as the Kingdom that consumes all of the kingdoms of the world!

Blessings,

Build, Raise Up, Make New!

Greetings,

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I sure did enjoy my time with my family at home. The tribe is growing and it was a very good time and a great celebration! Yesterday I got to preach at A-Life and presented some key thoughts for the coming year of 2016. The podcast will be posted.

We are living in a time when God is increasing the influence of the community of heaven upon the communities of the earth. This is not an easy collision. The communities of the world are expressions of the government of self, while the community of God is an expression of the will of the Father’s love. There are two administrations in the earth. One is an administration of the knowledge of good and the knowledge of evil. The other is an administration of life. The measurement of justice in one is based upon the knowledge of, or a perceived knowledge of, right and wrong. The other is an administration based upon love and life. The means of operation for all nations and peoples outside of a personal relationship with Christ in them as the hope of glory is the way of the knowledge of good and evil – right and wrong. Human beings made alive by the Spirit of Christ within them are empowered by the life of God that comes from a revelation of God’s love in their hearts. These are two different kingdoms with two different administrations. I am not talking about the religions of the world versus Christianity. I am talking about humanity versus Christ in humanity. The belief concerning the way of Christ has devolved to the term Christianity, and thus many simply see Christianity as a belief in Christ, rather than a trusting His manifest presence within their hearts. I don’t believe that Jesus became flesh for the sake of us knowing what to do or receiving a religion that counts as a substitute for intimacy with God. I believe He became flesh to make a way to transform all flesh in the earth. He moved into the neighborhood to change every neighborhood of mankind. Christ in us is the hope of glory! It is the hope of being fully alive unto eternal life – an intimate place of knowing God the Father and God the Son by the manifest presence of God the Spirit within the human heart!

The two administrations in the earth create two different family trees. One is the family tree of the knowledge of good and evil and the other is the family tree of life. Conscience and law administrate one, while Spirit and truth administrate the other. The testimony of Spirit and truth is one of God’s grace that changes the character, nature, way, power, and authority from within the human heart. An administration of the knowledge of good and evil leaves the kingdoms of the world bound to poverty, broken heartedness, captivity, bondage, and a loss of inheritance, destiny and a family name. The administration of the kingdoms of the world are in need of deliverance, bound to mourning, confused in their decisions because of their mourning, and bound to a testimony of ashes, lamentation, and heaviness.

The kingdom of God is a place of restored riches, healed hearts, freedom, liberty, and restored inheritance, destiny, and the family name. The administration of the kingdom of God is an internal administration of the heart that brings us deliverance from our enemies, comfort, clarity for sound decisions, beauty, joy, and a testimony of praise. Is this the purpose of the anointing of God? Is it to bring freedom from the pain and destruction of the administration of the kingdoms of the world? Or is there something more? The governments of the kingdoms of the world are externally administrated and bound to the limitation of self; thus ruin, desolation, and the loss of true community and the destiny of community are the evident observations to the outcome of their endeavors in world. There is a constant battle to succeed, to overcome, and to find rest. There is a constant repetition of the patterns of history as men seek to conquer men by the power judgment for what they perceive to be the knowledge of good and the knowledge of evil. The external efforts of control, manipulation, and domination prevent men from ever discovering the testimony of true restoration in their lives. The kingdoms of the world are not able to build, raise up, or make things new.

The internal kingdom of life empowers those who receive it to be planted with a generational inheritance, legacy, and destiny. Human families are meant to be like trees. In Christ they bear the testimony of being trees of righteousness. Trees are a biblical testimony of generational inheritance. In Christ, the family tree is the Tree of Life. Each member in the tree has a personal relationship with God. They are dependent upon God, they are a testimony of God, and God and each family member live together. God is the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Israel. He is the God of Paul, Timothy, faithful men, and other also. These are those empowered and transformed by the internal kingdom of God – a kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Those in the kingdom of God are able to build, raise up, and make things new. This is the purpose of the kingdom of God. It is a testimony of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. It is the ability to be a blessing, to multiply, and to possess the gates of our enemies. This is the place where faith, hope, and love partner for the glory of God in the earth. We have hope because we know He loves us. Our hope is in Him, not merely the things that He can do. We have faith because we hear the One who loves us. We live to see all things made knew because the faith that comes by His voice in our hearts overcomes all things in this world. Our faith is the substance of the things hoped for in Christ. Love is the strength of these – hope and faith. In this season we will see a partnership of faith, hope, and love. The greatest of these is love and because of His love we will build, raise up, and see things made new. The partnership of these three will be found in the unexpected and unusual partnerships of 2016. Listen for the sound that plants the righteous inheritance of God and seeks to build, raise up, and make things new for the glory of God!

Isaiah 61:1-4 “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” And they shall rebuild the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.

Isaiah 62:12 And they shall call them The Holy People, the Redeemed of the LORD; and you shall be called Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken.

Blessings,

He Makes Enemies – Friends!

Greetings,

What a great day it was yesterday with my church family in Bellingham. Pastor Jonathan did a great job releasing some prophetic keys for the coming year concerning the testimony of God’s love at work in the earth. Thank you Pastor for your heart, love, and commitment to God’s kingdom of grace!

There are two administrations in the earth. One is the administration of the kingdoms of the world and the other is the administration of the kingdom of God. The kingdoms of the world are externally manifest and they attempt to influence human lives through external pressures. The influence of the knowledge of good and evil is an influence upon the human soul by external means. The opinions of the world seek to shape the opinions of the minds of others by shame, control, manipulation, or some other form of earthly, sensual, or demonic influence. The kingdom of God is internally manifest and it influences human lives from within. It is a testimony of freedom within the boundaries of an influence of love for the sake of others. It is an influence of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit that is manifest in the human heart. The kingdoms of the world call darkness light and seek to make their perceived light the light of human souls. The kingdom of God is an internal light that shines out of darkness, thus transforming the darkness of men by the light of Christ within. The kingdoms of the world value the treasures of what they know. The treasure of the kingdom of God is Christ within the human heart and the fruit of the Spirit is evident in a life-giving influence that comes from the internal source of light. When we embrace the life of the internal kingdom of God we don’t make it our goal to change the lives of others, we merely demonstrate the life of God that can change all men. Living with the administration of kingdom of God empowers us to be an example to others that can inspire them to embrace the love of God that is only found in Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:6-7 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.

The kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Rom. 14:17). It is an internal reality of life that transforms the human heart from within.

Luke 17:20-21 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, “See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

The kingdoms of the world are focused upon the external realities of life and thus the internal realities of the heart are abused, restrained, controlled, damaged, and bound to a diminishing reality influenced by bitterness, dysfunction, and death. People who embrace the power of the kingdom of God become increasingly focused upon the internal realities of Christ within and thus the external influences of their lives are influenced by an increasing reality of life and peace in Christ. Jesus was such a man! A right relationship with God from the internal realities of His heart empowered Him to make decisions for others based upon who He was and not what the tree of knowledge of good and evil mandated they deserved. The motivator of His heart was the love of God and the tree of life!

Isaiah 11: 5 Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, and faithfulness the belt of His waist.

A right relationship with God gave Jesus the ability to make life-giving decisions for others. His acts of love towards others were the testimony of His faithfulness to the administration of the tree of life. This is the testimony of those who embrace the New Covenant life of God in Christ. The justice system of those who embrace this life-giving administration of heaven becomes one of love and not mere right and wrong realities. It is an open door for the outrageous power of God’s grace. Only the administration of love can make former enemies friends in the kingdom of God.

Isaiah 11:6-9 “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall graze; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.

People living by the standards of the world seek to destroy one another based upon the strongholds of their own definitions of what is right and what is wrong – what is good and what is evil. They build their monuments, their high hills, and their mountains of opinions even seeking to destroy the lives of others beneath the weight of their personal convictions of right and wrong. Their efforts to conform others to their own personal views only prove to create division, dysfunction, and death. People empowered by the love of Christ within their hearts become part of the mountain of God, a place of unity through diversity where the opinions of God outweigh the opinions of men. It is a life-transforming mountain of intimacy with God and not one of informing knowledge of judgment and death.

Blessings,
