The Reality of Sacrifice and Offerings

Greetings;

Today I am in Portugal. I am recording teachings in Portuguese for leaders in various Portuguese speaking communities in various countries. I am excited to see the project of training progress to subject number seven. Yesterday I was in two new church communities, new to me. God was wonderful, and it was great to connect to further expressions of the amazing body of Christ in Portugal.

Do you think it is important to dedicate your life to letting God love you and to love Him? Paul’s plea to believers was that they would understand that the mercy of God allows and inspires us all to present our lives to God without any shame. He appealed to believers to see their lives as a living sacrifice to God and not to think like the world. Whereas the world lives to satisfy and gratify themselves, believers in Christ should live for the purpose and will of God in their lives.

Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Do you think it is important to live a life of works that testify of our faith towards God? The apostle John said that faith without works is dead. Our works are a testimony of our faith towards God. This is true sacrifice, a sacrifice that comes by faith. It is the evidence of hearing God in our hearts. Faith inspires our works in life and these are meant to be sacrifices that testify of our love for God. They are a demonstration of the wisdom of God to our future as the body of Christ. We are to live a life of faith towards God in all things.

Do you think it is important to respond to God, the giver of bread and wine in our lives? When God gives us anything, natural or spiritual, our response to Him testifies of our dependence upon Him and our desire to receive all that He has. Our responses to God in attitude and in action testify of our recognition of who He is in the destiny of our lives. Our testimony in life is fully dependent upon all that He possesses, and it is not something we can create by any resources of our own. All that we receive for internal or external realities of our lives are a gift from Him. How we respond to Him with what we possess determines our ability to receive all that He gives from heaven. Rain does not come from heaven, it comes when vapors ascend and meet the atmosphere of rain in heaven. Then the blessing returns in greater measure to the earth. Angels do not come from heaven. They come from the place of God’s habitation upon the earth. It is from that place that they ascend and descend to bring all that is needed in the earth from heaven. Our responses to God in this earth determine the release of the full blessings of God in our lives.

Do you think it is good idea to submit to those who have been sent to give you life in some way? It is important that you tip in the direction of those God sends you to in order to give them the life that God desires for you to give? Paul said we are to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to seek to give life to one another by submitting to one another as unto the Lord. The early church submitted to the apostle’s way of life in all things. He received life to give life to all in their worlds.

Do you think it is important to discover who you are in the Christ for the sake of others? The apostle Paul wrote that each member of the body of Christ is to live to contribute to other members so that each one does their part in the ministry of Christ. Our God-given motivational gifts, Spirit anointed ministries of Christ, and our purposes together as the testimony of Christ are dependent upon each one of us doing our share for the sake of the calling, the inheritance, and the working of the power of Christ in all things.

Do you think that community is part of God’s plan? Is communion with the Holy Spirit and with one another a reality for today as the community of God in the earth? Should we live to be a place that God lives, and should we embrace an intimate love for God and for one another? The writer of Hebrews said that believers should never forsake coming together. We should seek to stimulateone another with love and to love. We should see coming together as of the most important thing in our lives for the sake of encouraging one another and for the sake of the testimony of the communion of believers.

Do you think it is a good idea to partner with God and to allow Him to partner with you in all things in life? Should you seek Him in order to reign in life. When we put God first, He has access to all that is in our lives. When we make Him first in our lives, He has access to the future of our lives. Our children and our children’s children will benefit from our face to face relationship with God in all things.

If you believe in these things and you put them into practice in your lives, you are living in the reality of sacrifice and offers written in the law for the place that God chooses His name to abide (Deut. 12:5-7). The Law is fulfilled, but the realities that the Law foreshadowed are real in practical application of our lives. These are the testimony of burnt offering, sacrifices, tithes, heave offerings, vowed offerings, freewill offerings, and the first offerings of our flocks and herds. They exist, but they don’t exist in the Law. They exist in the character, nature, way, power, and authority of our lives as believers in Christ. You cannot say you are no longer under the Law if you don’t embrace becoming part of the reality of these things by His administration of grace.

Blessings,

Ted J. Hanson

The Rewards to His Conclusions

Greetings;

Today I am writing from Bellingham. Last week was tough. My son Aaron, daughter in law Amani, grandson Kaden, and granddaughter Zaria have all moved to Nevada as part of their journey in life. Bonnie and I are so proud and blessed to have such amazing people as part of our family. Losing them from Bellingham is hard, but necessary in the plan of God for their lives. I am already planning trips to Nevada. I miss my peoples!

I have been writing concerning spiritual truths for us all to find satisfaction as human men and women as sons and daughters of God. God is the one who gives life, breath, and all things. We are to be those who live with a testimony of His character, nature, way, power, and authority in all things.

Psalms 19:7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; 8 the statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; 9 the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. 11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned, and in keeping them there is great reward.

God’s judgments bring great reward. In keeping them there is great reward. That reward is like fine gold and fresh honey. They are a treasure of God’s character and a testimony of His life-giving energy from within. It is valuable and desirable. What are God’s judgments?  God’s judgments are His righteous conclusions, decisions, and boundaries. God’s conclusions are better than ours. To find great reward we must be empowered to trust His conclusions, decisions, and boundaries more than we trust our own desired conclusions, decisions, or definition of boundaries in life.

Knowing the love of God converts our thoughts, reasoning, imaginations, emotions and desires. His presence transforms the rooms of our lives and enables us to step from today into our tomorrow. Embracing His commissions causes our hearts to rejoice as we willingly walk our own path of destiny. Choosing to live according to His ordinances enlightens our eyes to see what we could not understand before. An awe for who He is makes us pure and enduring.

Choosing to embrace His conclusions, decisions, and boundaries as valuable and desirable in our lives will gives us great rewards. When these things become the reality of our lives we find that our iniquities, our internal flaws, are transformed by the power of His grace. We will find that even our external rebellion is transformed by the power of His love. These things will no longer rule our lives. Our internal weaknesses and external rebellion will no longer have dominion over our lives. We become transformed and we become like our heavenly Father. We become innocent within and what comes off of us in life will bring life to our worlds.

Psalms 19:12-14 Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults. Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, and I shall be innocent of great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

God gives us His life from within. The kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit within our hearts. Satisfaction is found through and inner change in our lives. God is our God, we are His people, and we live with Him in all things. The internal kingdom of God is affecting the outward workings of the kingdoms of our lives!

I want to be like You when, and as, I grow up Father. Heal my iniquities. Stop me from doing wrong when I already know it is wrong anyway. Don’t let my internal flaws or my external rebellions have dominion over me. Change me, inside and out! Let my thoughts and my expressions be as Yours.

  1. Save my soul – Grant me life-giving thoughts, strategies, desires, emotions, and imaginations
  2. Make me whole – Give me a testimony that makes me wise in simplicity
  3. Make me full – Cause my heart to be glad
  4. Make me see – Enlighten me from within to see as You see
  5. Make me strong – Make me pure and enduring
  6. Make my life rewarding – Cause me to desire, seek, and embrace Your conclusions, decisions and boundaries

Blessings,

Ted J. Hanson

The Statutes, Commands, and Fear of God

Greetings;

I am enjoying being home in Bellingham. We have had a lot of rain, but that is making all things green. After a great Easter service last week, we found ourselves in a sense of a new season at Alife on Sunday. Jeremy James gave a great world yesterday on facing our fears. I am ready to see God’s love form the world I live in. This is another week and another opportunity to see God working in our lives.

I have been writing on discovering secrets to living a satisfied life. I have written on how the law of God’s love converts our souls. This is not the bondage of rules and regulations that control our lives, but a changed heart and mind by a growing revelation of God’s love. Our thoughts, reasoning, emotions, desires, and imaginations are being transformed by Christ within us. The testimonies of God are making us wiser than the wisdom of the flesh. God is good and the poetic experiences of His power at work in our lives is wisdom of the flesh. Sometimes God’s poetic realities outweigh our theological understandings of God. God just does things and everything changes! The third secret to human identity is found in the statutes of God.

Psalms 19:8 the statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart…

What is a statute? A statute is a commission or a mandate. It is about finding the power to be responsible in all that has been given to us to be and do in life. We make a great us and a terrible someone else. When we embrace who we are and live fully for who we are, we discover the ability to give life to our worlds. In this, we find joy in our hearts. When we become life-giving in our commissions and mandates in life we find that our hearts rejoice. Our commissions and mandates concern who God declares us to be. It is about being true to who we are according to who God made, and is making, us to be. We can be life-giving in our marriages, our families, our communities, and all that is within of our world. We are not responsible for someone else’s world, jut our own. God is with us to empower us to be responsible in all of our God-given responsibilities in life. By this we will give life to our worlds.

Psalms 19:8 the statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes…

God’s commandments enlighten our eyes. What is a command? A command is an ordinance. In a city or community there are ordinances. Those ordinances are there so the community will not become something it was not intended to be. Among men there are many ordinances that are less than life-giving and are often focused on special interest groups and personal agendas. God’s ordinances concern a community of an abundance of life. We don’t understand the ordinances of God. He is much more merciful, much more forgiving, much more loving, and much more life-giving in every way than us. It is not until we willingly embrace His ways that we can truly understand His ways. His ordinances cause us to see, but our natural sight doesn’t allow us to see His ordinances. To see clearly in the way of life, we must be empowered to embrace His ordinances. His commands or ordinances enlighten our eyes. True vision can only come when see what God sees and when we see things the way God sees them. God’s ordinances change our perspective on everything. We must trust what God sees and the way He sees it more than we trust our own view on matters in life.

Psalms 19:9 the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever…

The fear of the Lord makes us clean and enduring. What is the fear of the Lord? It is a moral inspiration and awe of who He is. A revelation of who He is causes us to be in awe of who He is. Only an awe of who He us can truly make us pure and enduring in life. We must see God for who He is, or we will become grasshoppers in the sight of our world. We must see that all things are as grasshoppers in the sight of our heavenly Father. We must see Him as big enough for any situation in our lives and we must see Him as the awe inspire love of our hearts. We are not afraid of Him like we would be afraid of an enemy. We have a reverence, an awe, and an awareness of how great He is in all things. By this we become inspired to live for Him in every way and in all things. Our zeal becomes a flame for His will and His glory when we see Him for who He really is. This gives us ability to live a passionately holy and enduring life! We are all in! Nothing is held back from Him when we see Him as He truly is!

Blessings,

Making Wise the Simple

Greetings,

What a great day it was yesterday with family, friends, my church community and the resurrection life of Christ in our midst. It was a great day overall. I was home in my community church and God was in the house. My youngest granddaughter turned three this week and we had a great celebration for her last night as a full and blessed family.

I was awakend to God’s presence last night with these things rising from a dream where I was asked, what is mercy? From my spirit came the following:

Mercy is standing in a relationship with God with who you are so that you can find grace to become who you really are. Mercy is knowing you are a child of God because your sins are forgiven by your heavenly Father who loves you in all things. Grace is discovering you are a son or a daughter of God your Father and you can overcome anything that is not like God in your life because God’s presence is empowering you to be transformed to become an increasing testimony of being an expression of Him in all things. Grace empowers you to become the likeness and image of Him in your world. He allowed people to hurt you, so you could become like Him and He allowed you to hurt others, so they too could become like Him. Mercy and grace are God’s provision for being and becoming the fullness of God’s family in the earth. By these too things we grow to know Him and to become like Him. By these too things we find our identity in the calling, the inheritance, and the power of His name for the glory of our family name in all things.

I believe that what was expressed in my spirit was spoken by God’s Spirit to my spirit and now these thoughts have flooded my soul. I am discovering another level of satisfaction in life. True satisfaction in life can only be found in becoming a human being in the likeness and image of our heavenly Father. What does it take to find a life of satisfaction as a human being? Like the hidden mysteries of our natural world, there are hidden mysteries of our spiritual connection to God. These are secrets to discovering human identity. These six things will convert our souls, make us wise in simplicity, cause our hearts to rejoice, cause our eyes to see, make us clean and enduring, and bring us great reward. These are the testimonies of living a satisfied life. Last week I presented that the first of these mysteries is that of God’s law.

Human beings were created to be connected to God, spirit to Spirit. When we find the internal connection to God through Christ in us, we become empowered by grace and we cast the shadow of law. The shadow of our lives should testify of the hidden mysteries of the character, nature, way, power, and authority of their Father, God. God’s law is really about love and only a revelation of God’s love can empower us to act rightly. A revelation of God’s love empowers us to become all that God’s love is in all that we are. It is by this that our thoughts, strategies, desires, emotions, and imaginations can become life inspired to make us life-giving to the world around us.

A second secret is that of finding wisdom in simplicity. Wisdom is the key to going from where we are today to where we need to be tomorrow. Wisdom leads us in the journey of life to find life and to be life for our world. The testimony of God is something that gives us an undeniable witness of who He is. A testimony is not dependent upon being smart, it is actually dependent upon being simple. Sometimes we don’t have answers to the difficult or impossible situations in our lives. When God breaks through with the power of His goodness and love we don’t need to know anymore. Wisdom is all about getting from today into tomorrow. The testimonies of God can free us from today and get us into our future by the power of His love. His testimonies make the simple wise. We need a converted soul and we need the testimonies of God to find satisfaction in life. Sometimes being too smart, too knowledgeable, and too aware of the natural possibilities prevents us from depending upon the poetic realities of God. A testimony from God is a poetic reality of a change in our world. It is the poetic realities of God’s love that make the simple wise. When He walks into the room, everything changes!

Psalms 19:7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple…

We are becoming the substance of our Father’s love and we are shining with the testimony of His love in all things. These things don’t happen because we are smart, they happen because our heavenly Father is good. The family tree of life produces the fruit of life in all things!

Blessings,

A Converted Soul

Greetings,

Sorry for the delay on the blog. Yesterday I was traveling and did not get a chance to post. Today I am home after a great week in Portugal. God was very good and it was great to connect with great people – great leaders and great churches. Thank you to all who remain hungry, willing, and teachable towards the now sound of God in the earth.

How do we find satisfaction and how do we help others discover satisfaction in life? God’s grace in our lives comes by the power of Christ in us. Christ in us is the hope of glory. Grace is the power of Holy Spirit working in our lives. Grace changes us! God’s gift of mercy justifies us to live, but His presence in our lives gives us the power of His grace that makes us truly live. We know we are alive by grace because God’s grace empowers us to give life to others. We know we are alive because we are increasingly becoming like our heavenly Father. We are givers of life. Grace empowers our lives to cast a shadow that can look like the law, but we are not under the law. A shadow that looks like the law is under us. I do not live by the law of not committing adultery, I live by the power of life and love for my wife. This could look like a law to those who merely see my shadow, but it is really a growing desire in my heart. When we find a life of satisfaction in Christ we cast a satisfying shadow to the world around us.

All people are affected by the natural laws of science. The hidden secrets of nature concerning day and night affect all people in all the earth. God’s creation and all of its hidden principles govern the natural realities of all nations. There are no exceptions. We all experience the joys and the challenges of a world filled with hidden laws, boundaries, empowerments, and realities.

Psalms 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. 2 Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. 3 There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard. 4 Their line has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun, 5 which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices like a strong man to run its race. 6 Its rising is from one end of heaven, and its circuit to the other end; and there is nothing hidden from its heat.

Just as there are hidden laws, boundaries, empowerments, and realities in nature, there are the same in the spiritual mysteries of men. We must discover the human connection to God’s Spirit to live a life that is fully satisfied as a human being. We must become like God our Father to find satisfaction as His offspring in the earth. We must become givers of life or we will never be satisfied in life. When we discover the secrets of our connection with the Spirit of God, we will also cast a shadow upon our world that testifies of what we have found.

These verses reveal six things that testify of a human life that finds satisfaction. They are keys to our true identity as children of God and without them we will never find true satisfaction in life. Like the hidden mysteries of our natural world, these are hidden mysteries of our spiritual connection to the giver of life. These six things consist of God’s law, His testimonies, His statutes, His commandments, a revelation of who He is, and His judgments. These are six secrets to discovering human identity. These six things will convert our souls, make us wise in simplicity, cause our hearts to rejoice, cause our eyes to see, make us clean and enduring, and bring us great reward. These are the testimonies of living a satisfied life. They are not things that bind human souls, but the shadow cast by the human soul that finds the internal empowerment of God’s Spirit of grace within their hearts.

What does it mean to convert the soul? Our souls are the bridge between our spirits and our physical lives. The soul is the throne of our lives. God’s Spirit empowering our spirits gives us the power of life, but to facilitate that life to become a life-giving influence to our worlds requires a converted soul. Our souls manifest our thoughts, reasoning, imaginations, emotions, and desires. When we live for ourselves, our thoughts, reasoning, imagination, emotions and desires become destructive forces to the influence of our lives. We become takers from others and not givers of life to our worlds. To find satisfaction we must be converted in our souls. God’s law coverts our souls.

What is God’s law? The Torah law was the shadow of the character, nature, way, power, and authority of all that God is. It was written well as a shadow of all that God is in heaven, but it was interpreted wrongly in its flat reality as a shadow cast as a standard over men. Human beings were not created to be under the law. They were created to cast a shadow that revealed the hidden mysteries of the character, nature, way, power, and authority of their Father, God. We cannot understand God’s love by living under what appears to us to be a controlling command. Living under a shadow cannot possibly give us a revelation of living in the light. Only living in the light can empower our lives to become a testimony of a shadow. God’s law is really about love. Only a revelation of God’s love can empower us to act rightly. Acting rightly doesn’t make us the character, nature, way, power, or authority of love. Only a revelation of love can empower us to become a revelation of love to others. It is only a revelation of love that can empower us to act rightly as a testimony of truth. We cannot just do truth, we must become truth. It is by this that our souls can be converted. Only a revelation of love that empower us to become love can cause our thoughts, reasoning, imagination, emotions, and desires to become facilitators of an influence of love to our worlds. This is true life.

Blessings,

Ted J. Hanson

Disciple Your World

Greetings,

Wow! What a great time of ministry and connection in Angola, Africa. I have ministered 25 times in 8 days of training. The people were very hungry, willing, and teachable. I also made many new connections with new Pastors and congregations. There will be a full schedule when I come again in November. It was a blessing being with my church family of Angola. Tonight I will head to Portugal for more connections and the goodness of God.

We are to be disciples of Christ to disciple the nations, or more specifically – the peoples in our world. Who do we influence in life? Who is in our measure of influence? To be givers of life we must cultivate our inner relationship with Christ within us. Christ in us is the hope of glory. The God-connection in our spirits is the source of becoming a disciple of Christ. The ability to give life to any and every situation in life has been given to Jesus as a man, the firstborn from the dead. It is by His life within us that we can bring life to our world.

We are to baptize those in our world in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is the fullness of the identity of God. I believe in water baptism and that water baptism is a perfect demonstration of a life of works that speak of our faith toward God. In water baptism we publically demonstrate that we died in Christ, we were buried in Christ, we rose from the dead in Christ, and the life that we now live we live by faith in Christ. We are no longer members of our old bodies of flesh, but we are members of the body of Christ. We have been submerged into the identity of the body of Christ. I believe these words of the commission of Jesus pertain to this, but even more so they are words telling us to live to empower others to be submerged into the identity of the fullness of God in this life. This is the only place where satisfaction can be found.

Jesus told His disciples to teach those in their worlds to observe all that He had commanded them. Our teaching is not by the old tree of knowledge it is by demonstrating a life empowered by the tree of life. The Pharisees taught by the tree of knowledge, but Jesus demonstrated the life that comes by being part of the family tree of life. We must be givers of life to our worlds. We must choose intimacy with God in Christ and embrace the tree of life in order to bring life to our worlds. Mercy has triumphed over judgment and the judgment of the Father’s love exceeds the judgments of the flesh.

The great commission of Jesus could be worded to say: The ability to give life in and to every situation in heaven and earth has been given to Me, go therefore and put your peoples under the influence of life. Submerge them into the identity of who God is. Empower them to be givers of life as you are becoming a giver of life from the power of Christ within. Demonstrate this life to your world as I empower this life within you. You are not disconnected, I am manifestly with you in the whole task and journey. Amen.

Who is in your world? Jesus was the Lamb slain for the world, but His means of reaching the world was by influencing a few. His immediate concern was those in His world and by this the power to reach the whole world would be made known.

John 17:9 “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours.”

John 17:20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”

Jesus was a disciple of Christ, a disciple of the Spirit of God within Him. He was in the Father and the Father was in Him. His connection with God by the Spirit was His source of bringing life to His world. It is by this same means that we are to bring life to our worlds. We are to abide Him and He in us. Only Christ in us can empower us to be givers of true life to the world. This is how we are sent to our worlds.

John 20:21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” 22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”

We are sent to bring life to those in our world by the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Each of us has been called to be ministers of life by the power of Christ within us.

Becoming a Life-Giver

Greetings;

Today I am in Angola, Africa. I arrived this weekend and I am doing teaching and training on Properly Judging Prophetic Ministry, New Covenant, and Generational Leadership in various degrees and in various places. Yesterday was a great day on the morning radio, morning service in Sambizanga. Today I taught a group of pastors and leaders in the morning as well as this evening with another group. I am ready for a full week of training with pastors and evening training in Sambizanga.

How do we find satisfaction and how do we help others discover satisfaction in life? We were made in the likeness and image of our Father, God. God is a giver of life. He doesn’t need anything from us, He simply gives us life, breath, and all things. He makes us come alive in our hearts, He causes our lives to be an expression of Him, and He partners with us in all things in life.

Acts 17:24 “God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. 25 Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.

This is the nature of God and we were created in His likeness and His image. This is true for men and women. Satisfaction can only be found when we become as He is, when we become givers of life. He is a giver of life and we can only find satisfaction in being givers of life too. Unless we embrace the nature of the source of our being we cannot find satisfaction in our being. When we seek to get things in life and to live for our own benefit we can never satisfy the call of destiny in our lives.

How can be become givers of life to our world? We must be disciples of Christ, not just disciples of some external expression of God in our midst. Christ in us is the hope of glory. Glory could be defined as being fully alive and fully you in every way. There is a glory of everything and everyone and to be who we were meant to be in the fullest state of life is a testimony of glory. There is a measure of glory in every season of our lives. We must find the glory of each season. We have been given a great gift. Christ in us is the hope of glory. It is through Christ in us that we can fulfill the commission give to us by Jesus.  What is the commission given to us? The commission given by Jesus to His disciples concerning their world and the end of the Jewish age is the same applicable commission given to us in our worlds and the completion of our times.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

We know these verses as The Great Commission, but sometimes we make them so great we believe these words are only true for a few sent ones. Let me break these words down into some everyday practicalities. The first statement is that all authority had been given to Jesus as a man. He is Lord of lords and King of kings, but His accomplishment was not that of His deity, it was that of His humanity. He was a man full of grace and truth and He lived a human life never eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but only of the tree of life. He did only that which He saw His Father doing. As a man, He was like His Father. He was a giver of life to His world. Authority is not about control. Authority is not the same as mere power. Authority never takes, it only gives. Authority is the ability to give life to another. We could read these words of Jesus to say: The ability to give life to any and every situation in heaven and on earth has been given to me, go therefore and put all in your world under the influence of life.

The word world in these verses is the word ethnos. It means peoples. It is not just the cultures, races, peoples of the world, it is the peoples in each of our worlds. The people in my world are not the same as the people in your world and the people in your world are not the same as the people in my world. The ability to give life to any and every situation has been given to Jesus, thus He is able to give each of us as men or women the ability to influence our world with His life. We can influence our spouse, our children, our grandchildren, our extended family, our neighborhood, our friends, and even our enemies with life! Each of us has been given a life of relational connections and expanding spheres of influence. We are to be like Jesus. We are to be like our heavenly Father. We are to bring life to our worlds. Christ is us is the hope of glory. Christ in us empowers us to be disciples of Christ so we can disciple our ethnos – our peoples.

Blessings,

Prophecy of March 3, 2018

Greetings,

We had a great weekend of prophetic training at Christ Life Training and Abundant Life Church. We did training and in the midst of the weekend some unction came upon me to make a declaration concerning relevant prophetic grace in this present season. I recorded it and have posted it upon my podcast site but felt to present it in a written form today.

Prophecy is always seeing something, experiencing something that is unexplainable that wrecks you in your heart, expressing it in a way that no one can understand, and then expressing it clearly so it seems like it can be understood, and then finally becoming the testimony of what was expressed.

In the late 1990’s there were many sings and wonders of supernatural things. Some of those things still continue in various places. They are the expressions of a mystery that are the first expressions for prophetic changes in the earth. I believe that when we transitioned into the present millennium we entered into a place of God’s grace of the Spirit of Knowing whereby we will be transformed to become the community of God for the sake of the communities of the nations. God wants to transform us to become pillars of God’s temple that establish expressions of His community – come-to-unity, and communion – come-to-union with God’s Spirit and with one another to be known His people in the earth.

Stage one of the present prophecy for change in the earth began in the late 90’s with gems, jewels, gold dust, gold teeth, feathers, bread, and other signs and things that made us wonder in the mystery. The present prophetic word began in the late 90’s and the first of this millennium with mystery expressions. Stage two was the beginning of declaring to the mountain to be changed by the present grace of God. This includes internal revolutions, grassroots manifestations of a new vulnerability, transparency and a desire for a deeper intimacy with God and one another as His people in the earth. It includes a revelation of His love, being born to be loved, and a longing for His power to transform us to become like Him in His ways of love. It includes the speech of the Lord, the speaking of the Lord even unknowingly by those who do not know Him, and a speaking of the word of the Lord as we become the people who are the substance of what God has declared to be done. I released a word a number of years ago concerning the present move of grace that is happening in the earth at this time. This is the essence of that word:

The Spirit of the Lord says, you think that I have been showing you heavenly things, but I have been throwing things at you to tell you who you are. And I’ve not been showing you things that are heaven, I have been telling you that what you see to be common, I see as extraordinary. And I have been throwing feathers and you and saying, fly, fly, fly! And I have been throwing bread at you because I have been saying you’re the bread. And I have been throwing gems and jewels at you because what you call natural and common dirt I call gems and jewels of my heart. And I’ve been throwing heavenly things at you to tell you I don’t see the earth the way that you see it. And you think that I have been showing you things that are in heaven, so you can go there, but I have been prophesying over you. And I have been declaring. for in this season you shall be known as the people of God. And you shall come forth with a different character. And you shall come forth with a different testimony.

And why not release an even little stronger word right now! March 3, 2018:

The Spirit of the Lord says, you’ve asked for a tidal wave, you’ve asked for a tidal wave to come, you’ve asked that there would be revival. And I declare to you that the tidal wave is already here. And many of you have not even recognized that it’s here because you are standing in the wrong place of the tidal wave. For the tidal wave has come and it is bringing a destruction. And the things that are of promiscuity and the things that are of legalism will be destroyed. But it’s in this season that I have said to you before, you shall find momentum. But only those who hang ten can find momentum, for my judgments are judgments of love and you have to find your feet standing on the wave and not being crushed by the waters that are in this season. For the Spirit of the Lord declares that there will be a momentum in this generation and even in the death and the passing of Billy Graham, I’m going to take the mantle that was upon Him and I am putting it in a grassroots society that I’m going to cause the teenagers to rise up even in this time. And that which is beyond the millennials will rise up with a new fervency and a new fire, but they’re going to come forth with a covenant value. Something that is going to be sparked in their hearts and it won’t be because I bring forth that which will try to form them externally, but there will be a revolution that comes in the heart. But it will be a time to hang ten says the Lord, and you ‘l be able to ride upon the things that should have taken you out. For there was a generation that was born in the midst of that which is lies. There was a generation that was born in the midst of that which tried to destroy them. There was a generation that was born in the midst of that said not everything is great and out of that generation there is going to rise a greatness and they will be known as the people of God and they will not just know Me as the God of the people. For there will be a momentum.

So, the Spirit of Life says to you, do not look at the wave that crashes you, but rise up again and look at your feet. Will you stand? Will you stand? Will you stand in the place you couldn’t stand before? In the place that you were lied about will you become those who do not lie? In the face of the place you were rejected will you become the people who do not reject? Will you speak with your heart and not with your mind? Will you be those who hang ten and do like Me, make a judgment of love and stand.  And you will ride the wave that is coming, for the revival that is coming is already hear, says the Spirit of the Lord

Blessings,

Ted J. Hanson

More Reasons To Hear

Greetings;

I have just finished a great weekend with Pastor Paul Fowler and LifeChurch in Bryan / College Station, Texas. It was a full and blessed weekend. From Friday through Sunday God’s presence and goodness was with us. Thank you so much to all the hungry, willing, and teachable people here.

Last week I began to address reasons to hear God’s voice. Today I want to continue with four more reasons to hear God. I presented last week that:

  1. The first reason to hear God is to know the life that comes by being loved by God. It is to have a relationship with Him and know Him – this is eternal life. Revelation2:7
  2. A second reason to hear God is to overcome the fear of death in all things. Love does whatever is necessary and thus it will physically manifest that love in the actions of our lives. Revelation 2:10, 11
  3. A third reason to hear God Is to know the inward transformation of God’s word in our hearts and His outward testimony in our lives. These are the fruit of responding to God’s gifts of His Word and Spirit in and through our lives. Revelation 2:17

If we look at the fourth letter in the book of Revelation we find the church of Thyatira. The name Thyatira means, sacrifice or labor of love. True authority is the ability to give life to others. Having been judged in Christ, we can now give life to others. We are under authority and thus we have been given authority. The ability to give life in and to any circumstance has been given to Jesus as the Son of Man, therefore, we can give life to those who are in our sphere of life. It is a matter of submission to receive authority and submission to give that substance of life to others. A fourth reason for hearing God is to give life to our world. We can bring light to any darkness and transform it to day.

Revelation 2:26 And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations— 27 ‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron; they shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’—as I also have received from My Father; 28 and I will give him the morning star. 29 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’

The name Sardis means, prince of joy. It is in the presence of God that there is the fullness of joy. We are awake to God and we are children of the day and not the night. We know the power of His Might and the testimony of who we are in Christ reveals His resurrection power to our world. We are each a part in the testimony of His calling, His inheritance, and His power to the world around us. A fifth reason for hearing God is to walk in the works prepared for us in Christ. We are sent ones; thus, angels work with us to reveal the goodness of our Father through our lives as part of the testimony of His Son.

Revelation 3:5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. 6 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’

The name Philadelphia means, brotherly love. We are increasingly experiencing the testimony of communion with Him and one another that inspires the testimony of His community in the earth. We are increasingly knowing God in our midst as the family of God. We are the people of God in the earth. A sixth reason to hear God is to be a pillar of God’s presence in the earth that loves and lives for God and His family.

Revelation 3:12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name. 13 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’

The name Laodicea means, just people. True justice is not a testimony of what is right verses what is wrong. True justice is to become the substance of who God is as those who have clearly obtained His mercy. We can know the power of prayer that is really a face-to-face relationship with God in all things. A seventh reason to hear God is to be consumed with His zeal for His glory. This only comes by knowing Him in us and us in Him in all things. We can partner with Him in all things and reign in life.

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. 22 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’ ”

These are reasons to hear God. None of them are focused on knowing what to do, being independent, being successful, or doing some great thing in life. All of these reasons are about being connected to Him in all things.

  4. A fourth reason for hearing God is to give life to our world. We can bring light to any darkness and transform it to day. Revelation 2:26-29
  5. A fifth reason for hearing God is to walk in the works prepared for us in Christ. We are sent ones; thus, angels work with us to reveal the goodness of our Father through our lives as part of the testimony of His Son. Revelation 3:5, 6
  6. A sixth reason to hear God is to be a pillar of God’s presence in the earth that loves and lives for God and His family. Revelation 3:12, 13
  7. A seventh reason to hear God is to be consumed with His zeal for His glory. This only comes by knowing Him in us and us in Him in all things. We can partner with Him in all things and reign in life. Revelation 3:20-22
